In Brief:

Dan Adams’ songwriting is most often described by fans as musical storytelling with catchy, singable melodies. Adams’ unique, soulful voice coupled with the lyrical accessibility of his songs has been attracting a fiercely devoted fan base for the 5 years that he has been touring.

Dan Adams’ songs range from country-rock like Steve Earle, Robert Earl Keen, Chris Knight, to southern rock stylings reminiscent of the Georgia Satellites, Black Crowes, and sometimes even a little flavor of Tom Petty-ness...

Since 1998, the Dan Adams Band has continuously toured the southeastern U.S. – formerly under the name 1401 – playing 100-150 shows per year in 50 cities in 13 states.  The band has released 3 full-length albums - “Late Night Diner” (1998), “Bittersweet Voyage” (1999), and “Shadows” (2001), as well as an EP entitled “Story to Green” (2002). In 2004, Adams released another EP in very limited number simply titled “Dan Adams.” - Recorded in Adams’ home studio and self produced, the latest EP has garnered praise from fans and industry insiders - especially the song “Drinkin’ Out Loud.”

Most recently, Adams has been performing most of his shows without a drummer - preferring the stripped down, intimate feel of solo acoustic shows and duo shows with longtime bassist Steve Bowers. Adams and Bowers share a rare chemistry on stage that can only come from years of touring together and co-writing.

Whether you experience the full Dan Adams Band, Dan and Steve as a duo, or catch one of Adams’ solo performances, you’ll leave the show knowing that heartfelt, true-to-life songwriting is alive and well.
